As a child, what did you think you wanted to be?

When I was a child, I wanted to be a marine biologist. Watching Free Willy could have influenced that a bit but as I grew up, I realized I just really love water.

What do you think your phone wallpaper would tell us about you?

She must really love plants!

What is a place you think everyone should visit?

Banff! If you’ve never been to Banff you will be mesmerized. The lakes, the mountains, the fresh air, the wildlife… it will actually take your breath away.

What do you think is your biggest weakness?

My heart is both my biggest weakness and also my greatest strength. I lead with love in all my decisions, flow with my heart in practice and openly share my heart to others. As a weakness, this makes me vulnerable to unwanted situations but also allows me to welcome new lessons that I’m meant to learn.

What lesson took you the longest to unlearn?

Growing up I was taught that success is measured by wealth.

While money is great, it took me a long time to realize that money isn’t everything. You can’t put a price on how you feel! You can be successful in several areas in your life. It might be measured by how many people you impact or how happy you are. The measure of success lies in the eye of the beholder. So rather than looking at success as monetary wealth, I’ve learned to view success as a feeling that only I can define.

What are you still trying to prove to yourself?

That my reach is far beyond my mat. For so long and for whatever reasons I kept my natural calling, to serve and impact others, to myself. Maybe because I felt unworthy or incapable of making a difference. I am repeatedly reminded that this isn’t true; I am worthy and deserving of everything that is coming to me and I am making a lasting impact on my community.
