In 2014 Alex Anderson completed her 200 hour yoga teacher certification with Oxygen Yoga and Fitness.
In the beginning she had no intention of teaching, but took the training to better prepare for running a studio in Tsawwassen. However, plans changed when she began to understand how yoga could improve students quality of life by bringing them into the present moment and how yoga could better connect people to their bodies, other people, and their surroundings.
In search for ways to honor the individuality of each human body and uniting that body, that person, with their own true nature, Alex began teaching immediately.
Her intention as an instructor is to use breath centered movement to open students up to the power that comes from within, to the power that she see everyday through the ways in which we conduct ourselves, through our self discovery, discipline, stillness and connection."
